Custom Window Treatments, Brought to Your Door
Family-run in Northern Virginia since 1972. We bring the samples to your home, measure, and install.
A Family Business, Three Generations of Customers
Snyder's started inside my dad Marty's hardware store in Falls Church back in the '70s. Today we're still family-run and still doing it the same way: we come to you, help you pick what actually works for each room, and stand behind the install.
A lot of our customers are the kids and grandkids of people we worked with decades ago, and that's the part of the job we're proudest of.
Blinds
Wood, faux wood, aluminum, and vertical blinds from Hunter Douglas. Classic, precise light control for any room, including kitchens and bathrooms where moisture is a concern.
Shades
Duette honeycomb, roller, Roman, and woven wood shades. Options run from sheer to full blackout, with real insulating value and cordless or motorized operation.
Shadings
Silhouette, Pirouette, and Luminette: soft fabric vanes suspended in sheer fabric. Tilt them for light and privacy like a blind, with the softness of a sheer and built-in UV protection.
Shutters
Hunter Douglas plantation shutters in real hardwood, moisture-proof Polysatin, and durable composite. Custom-built for each window and made to last for decades.
